Clean Air Allies Included in New GO IAQS for Schools Strategic Plan

On May 18, GO AQS released the GO IAQS for Schools Strategic Plan, which includes Clean Air Allies as a supporting organization and features its “Why Care about School Indoor Air?” fact sheet as a resource.
The strategic plan is intended to aid a “transition from vague guidance to performance standards” and from “simple compliance to a proactive health-first model” of indoor air quality (IAQ) provision in schools. It emphasizes the importance of “healthy learning environments” for all students and staff, including those with health vulnerabilities or in resource-limited areas. The strategic plan builds upon the Global Open Indoor Air Quality Standards (GO IAQS) framework and provides actionable items for schools everywhere.
GO AQS is a UK-based nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a “world where everyone breathes the same clean air and has access to healthy environments.” In particular, it promotes multidisciplinary effort toward “open, transparent, and scientifically grounded air quality standards.”
Clean Air Allies is proud to be included as part of a “compassionate community of partner organizations” contributing to this important work to improve IAQ in schools.
